Job summary

World Wide Technology in Edwardsville, IL is seeking a Production Supervisor on the 2nd shift to lead a team of 15–25 associates and technicians. The role focuses on meeting customer demands, ensuring safety and quality, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The position requires 3+ years of supervision, LEAN knowledge, and the ability to train staff, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement. This is a dynamic production environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervising a medium-size team (15-25 direct reports).
• Associate or Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• LEAN methodology knowledge preferred.
• Plan and execute to enhance quality and customer service.
• Produce progress reports on performance and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Identify required skills and resources to deliver projects; engage external resources as needed.
• Ensure operational staff are qualified and adequately trained.
• Investigate customer-impacting issues and provide root-cause and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share production status and resolve issues.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding for team members; drive performance reviews.
• Manage SLA and KPI targets; monitor production goals daily/weekly/monthly.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality and attendance; coach and recognize staff.
