Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) seeks a Warehouse Operator for the 2nd shift in Edwardsville, IL. You will receive, move, pick and ship products while operating PITs and handheld scanners, ensuring labels are accurate and loads are safe.

This fast-paced role reports to a Warehouse Supervisor and requires 2+ years warehousing experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime may be required; WWT offers comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years warehousing experience.
• Ability to operate PIT and other warehouse equipment up to 25+ feet.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of safety while operating PIT, Crane, or Box Truck.
• Identify efficiency improvements within own work area.
• Apply new ideas to enhance outputs and track progress.
• Learn and support receiving, shipping and warehousing processes.
• Collect information to understand problems and their origin.
• Research known solutions for basic problems and escalate when needed.
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in meeting deadlines.
