Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a shift in our Prepared Foods division. You will oversee production goals, maintain quality and yields, and ensure a safe working environment through process control and record keeping.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced facility. Some travel and shift flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; vocational or college courses preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the production team on shift.
• Hire, train, retain, and coach team members on policies and benefits.
• Guide station rotations and ensure coverage for all workstations.
• Monitor daily production orders, shipments, inventory, and product coding.
• Ensure all machinery is operating and safety standards are met; participate in USDA inspections.
• Provide ongoing education on quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as needed.
