Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Lead Supervisor to maintain high production, quality, and yield standards while ensuring a safe workplace. You will oversee the production process, keep accurate records, and manage line staffing and maintenance.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate with multiple teams. This position operates on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM) at Tyson facilities in the United States.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a production facility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Supervisory responsibilities for a team performing related production tasks and activities.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production orders to ensure customer fulfillment.
• Ensure all positions are staffed prior to production start-up.
• Oversee Team Member morning exercises and job rotations to support ergonomics.
• Monitor machinery performance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Verify all workstations have passed USDA inspection.
• Promote workplace safety daily and through safety meetings.
• Ensure accurate shipments, proper inventory rotation, and correct product coding.
• Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members.
• Support Team Member engagement, training, retention, and counseling.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain records of reworked or returned products.
• Reinforce continuous quality education and standards.
