Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in the United States. You will lead a team to maintain high production, quality and yields while ensuring a safe working environment.

Strong supervision and clear communication are essential for daily operations and USDA inspections. You will participate in staffing, training, and continuous education on quality, with occasional travel to other facilities and corporate sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; additional vocational or college courses preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years in a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• Resume is required; some travel may be involved; no sponsorship offered.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, retain, and coach team members; provide guidance on benefits and policies.
• Monitor daily production orders, shipments, inventory rotation and product coding.
• Ensure all line workstations are staffed and machinery operates with USDA inspection standards.
• Promote safety through daily practices and monthly meetings; lead problem-solving with other supervisors.
• Provide ongoing education on quality and participate in various processing operations.
