Job summary

MITER Brands in Nokomis, FL seeks a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to lead a multi-line manufacturing team and uphold safety, quality, and efficiency standards. You will drive daily production, mentor staff, and ensure accurate time and production records while advancing continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong LEAN experience, people leadership, and effective communication. The position is on-site with a Monday–Friday 5:00pm–1:30am shift and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Three-plus years in a manufacturing leadership role with multi-line responsibility.
• Strong background in LEAN process improvement principles and process management experience.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• Effective communicator who can teach and drive results while supporting the company philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example with respect to safety, quality, efficiency, and creativity.
• Schedules and directs team members within the production line with clear task expectations.
• Provides feedback, recognition, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Cross trains and rotates team members per internal performance structure.
• Maintains time and production records daily and ensures data integrity.
• Suggests changes to improve methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Prepares and presents training materials on safety, quality, and KPIs.
• Maintains safety by reporting hazards and participating in investigations.
• Enforces company policies fairly and communicates department updates.
