Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a frontline manufacturing team focused on safe, efficient, high‑quality daily machining and assembly output. The role requires strong machining knowledge and the ability to guide a represented workforce while driving continuous improvement and talent development.

The incumbent will manage staffing, ensure adherence to standard work, troubleshoot downtime with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to SQDIP targets.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field) or equivalent relevant experience.
• Machining background with CNC machining, tooling, setup or leadership.
• 2–5+ years supervising hourly manufacturing employees.
• Ability to execute production schedules and manage daily operations.
• Strong problem‑solving capability (A3/8D/root‑cause).
• SAP/MES proficiency preferred and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of hourly operators in a union environment; manage staffing, onboarding, and performance conversations.
• Oversee daily machining and assembly operations to meet SQDIP targets; ensure proper tooling setups and procedures; coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Materials and Engineering.
• Ensure compliance to work instructions, prints, and control plans; lead root‑cause problem solving for defects and process issues.
• Drive improvements in machining efficiency, scrap reduction, changeover time, and standard work; support 5S and visual management.
• Lead daily tier meetings and communicate staffing, performance, risks, and countermeasures to site leadership.
