Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Superintendent for a second shift in North Carolina. You will direct multiple production supervisors, oversee safety, quality, and cost controls, and ensure on-time manufacture of products across departments.

Requires 2+ years of related experience, 2–5 years in supervisory roles, and knowledge of USDA regulations. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Benefits include health coverages, PTO, 401(k) match, and bonus eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Directs production operations and personnel to meet standards and budgets.
• Establishes shift schedules and ensures material requisition and equipment maintenance.
• Coordinates with other plant functions to improve output, productivity, and quality.
• Selects and trains labor to meet schedules at optimum productivity and cost.
• Recommends improvements in production flow and methods.
• Ensures use of methods to eliminate problems and improve quality.
• Counsels supervisors on performance and efficiency.
• Suggests machine/equipment modifications to improve production.
