Johnson Controls is seeking a Production Manager to supervise the assigned production area, ensuring profitability, quality and safety. You will lead shift operations, coordinate with departments, and drive continuous improvement through Lean, 5S and Kaizen initiatives.

The role requires a 2nd shift schedule and willingness to support overtime as needed, with a strong focus on OSHA compliance and KPI-driven performance. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment, or Associate degree with 8+ years in a similar role.
• Proficiency using MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work 2nd Shift (2:00PM-10:00PM) and weekend overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct production supervisors in the plant and coordinate production work through familiarity with all manufacturing processes.
• Maintain safety, quality, efficiency, scrap and production schedules.
• Motivate and direct training of production supervisors; evaluate progress.
• Analyze staffing requirements and study daily operating results; coordinate solutions with supervisors.
• Ensure OSHA compliance on the plant floor and provide ongoing safety training.
• Lead Lean initiatives, 5S activities, and Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor and adjust staffing, overtime, and attendance; manage KPIs and financial framing.
