Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for our Albany, MO plant to lead a dedicated team on 2nd shift (3pm–1am) and drive daily production goals with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will mentor and supervise team members, manage workflow, work with engineering on cost-reduction and process improvements, ensure LEAN/KANBAN practices, and maintain accurate records while upholding all safety policies.

Qualifications

• University degree and 1 year minimum experience or 2-year degree and 6 years minimum experience.
• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Availability to work 2nd shift (3pm-1am) Mon-Thu with possible Friday OT.
• Proficiency using MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the production team to meet daily goals while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Manage workflow and allocate tasks; communicate with engineers on improvements.
• Control costs by minimizing scrap and rework; monitor production metrics.
• Coach and evaluate team members; ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
