Job summary

Benjamin Moore is seeking a 2nd shift supervisor to oversee production operations at our Mesquite, Texas site. The role requires hands-on leadership to maximize efficiency, coach leads, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time outputs across the department.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or distribution, an associate degree (bachelor preferred), and proficiency with MS Office tools and SAP. This position is on-site with standard pay for the shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisor/manager experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Competency with MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Be a decision maker and problem solver to maximize efficiency and manpower.
• Actively coach leads to support growth and development of leadership competencies.
• Supervise and assist department leads daily to support production activities.
• Manage employee issues such as attendance, performance goals, and disciplinary actions.
• Assess employee performance and implement corrective actions and development plans.
• Encourage teams to suggest improvements for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues, remove roadblocks, and identify/implement improvements.
• Write and update work instructions for consistent production performance.
• Audit team work for safety, quality, and productivity; report department goals.
