ASSA ABLOY South Central Service Center in Mesquite, Texas is seeking an Operations Supervisor on second shift. You will lead a 30+ person team, drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and oversee multiple production areas including frame manufacturing, welding, and modification.

The role emphasizes lean initiatives, on-time delivery, and staff development; 5+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience and a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience in metal forming or similar manufacturing environments preferred
• Exposure to lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologies
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• ERP system experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations across frame manufacturing, door frames, door modification, and welding cells
• Maximize productivity while minimizing waste and inefficiencies
• Ensure on-time delivery and high-quality output
• Plan and schedule resources to meet production goals
• Drive lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
• Train, coach, and develop team members to support flexibility and growth
• Maintain safe equipment, tools, and work environments
• Implement quality control standards and corrective actions
• Collaborate with leadership to execute operational strategies and budgets
• Special assignments as assigned
