Job summary

The candidate will lead, coach, and develop staff, coordinate schedules, manage overtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma and lean practices, while maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in manufacturing/production
• 3+ years of direct supervision or lead responsibilities
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge; 5S; Kaizen familiarity
• Bilingual English & Spanish desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer systems usage (MS Office)
• Ability to make independent, effective decisions

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and guidance to front-line production leaders and associates; plan and direct daily operations
• Lead, coach, and develop production personnel; act as SME
• Provide leadership to attain high employee achievement and retention
• Manage scheduling, timekeeping, payroll, and coverage for shifts
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment maintenance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Six Sigma, Kaizen, lean)
