Job summary

Pj-Trailers is seeking a 2nd shift Paint Line Supervisor to direct and manage paint assembly operations at the Sumner facility. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time production, working under the Production Manager on a Monday–Thursday schedule with overtime as needed.

You will lead 5–15 hourly workers, coordinate line activities with the Manager, and drive Lean initiatives to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Must focus on customers' expectations and continuous improvement.

Job Description:Under the direction of the Production Manager, the lead will direct and manage paint assembly operations for 2nd shift Sumner, Texas PJ facility. This individual will maintain all safety, quality, and production standards, in accordance with company policies and procedures.Schedule is Monday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 2am, OT Friday and SaturdayJob Responsibilities:Coordinate paint line activities with Manager to ensure 2nd shift paint line objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.Monitor performance for production and quality standards.Promotes a positive safety culture at all times.Provides direction and leadership to hourly personnel (Approximately 5-15 employees).Participation in Lean Manufacturing efforts & initiatives.Qualifications/Experience:1-3 years production supervisor experience.Experience managing 5-15 employees.An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations, prevent problems, and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and other employees.Must exercise continuous leadership to focus plant efforts on priorities.
