Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting seeks a Production Supervisor candidate for 2nd shift in Irving, TX. The role oversees daily production floor activities and supports the Production Department to meet goals with a focus on quality, safety, efficiency, and lean practices.

You will develop and lead production teams, coordinate daily activities across functions, manage staffing, and ensure schedules, materials, and quality requirements align with targets.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong manufacturing and lean principles understanding.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience reading part prints and bills of materials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production floor activities and support goals.
• Coordinate production schedules with Scheduling, Purchasing, Eng., and Program Managers.
• Forecast workload and adjust staffing levels as needed.
• Lead shift hand-off meetings and communicate operational updates.
• Train team members on inspection, packaging, quality, and production requirements.
• Ensure adherence to 5S standards and lean initiatives.
