Job summary

TATEFAB is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead 2nd shift fabrication operations in structural steel. This is a hands-on leadership role aimed at driving production, solving problems quickly, and maintaining accountability on the shop floor.

The successful candidate will read fabrication drawings, coordinate workflows, and mentor fabrication personnel while upholding safety and quality standards on a busy shift.

Qualifications

• 5+ years structural steel fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong fitting and layout experience required.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings independently.
• Leadership or crew supervision experience.
• Experience with structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift fabrication operations.
• Coordinate workflow and production priorities.
• Read structural steel fabrication drawings.
• Perform layout, fitting, and fabrication work.
• Address production issues and workflow bottlenecks.
• Maintain quality, production, and accountability standards.
• Reinforce safety and organized work areas.
• Support communication and coordination between shifts.
• Assist with training and development of fabrication personnel.
