Job summary

Tate Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead manufacturing teams ensuring safe, quality production delivers on time. You will promote employee growth and enforce safety policies while coordinating with engineering and leadership to meet daily schedules.

Ideal candidates bring an associate degree and multi-shift supervision experience, with strong ERP and MS Office skills, and a proven ability to communicate effectively and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and/or 3+ years manufacturing experience, or 5 years supervisor experience in multi-shift manufacturing.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, assign personnel across shifts, and monitor timely, cost-effective completion.
• Strong understanding of production processes and equipment to direct personnel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to lead through others.
• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for employee safety and enforcing safety as a core value.
• Assigns personnel to meet production objectives across all areas.
• Communicates daily performance and root-cause analysis for special-cause events.
• Tracks training and competency to promote cross-training and self-sufficiency.
• Runs daily pre-shift meetings and updates the production plan.
• Collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering and Plant leadership to correct production issues.
• Develops and improves safety, quality, and environmental programs.
• Ensures compliance with SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and safety policies.
• Reports quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
