Job summary

TATEFAB is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead 2nd shift fabrication operations with strong structural steel fabrication and fitting experience. This hands‑on leadership role requires driving production, maintaining accountability, solving problems quickly, and keeping shop operations moving efficiently during 2nd Shift.

Qualifications

• 5+ years structural steel fabrication experience required
• Ability to read fabrication drawings independently
• Leadership or crew supervision experience preferred
• Experience with structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals desirable
• Understand fabrication sequencing and production workflow

Responsibilities

• Lead Shift fabrication operations
• Coordinate workflow and production priorities
• Read structural steel fabrication drawings
• Perform layout, fitting, and fabrication work
• Address production issues and workflow bottlenecks
• Maintain quality, production, and accountability standards
• Reinforce safety and organized work areas
• Support communication and coordination between shifts
• Assist with training and development of fabrication personnel
