Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corp's Parker Aerospace unit in Glendale, AZ seeks a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (2:30pm–11:30pm) to supervise a manufacturing team, drive Lean improvements, and ensure on-time production of fuel systems components.

You will collaborate with Engineering, maintain safety standards, develop standard work, and support cost-reduction initiatives. A BS degree with 4+ years of related experience and experience with WebFocus and MS Power Platform are preferred.

Qualifications

• B.A. /B.S. degree in a related technical or business discipline and 4+ years of directly related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform in the described role and responsibilities and obtain the desired results.
• Substantial practical knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, and/or quality or operations support, including applicable information systems and reports (e.g. MRP).
• Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results and meeting objectives.
• Ability to promote new ideas and positive change and to serve as a role model.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct work activity of team members on the designated shift.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and eliminate waste; champion Lean Kaizen events.
• Ensure quality standards and communicate with customers; coordinate corrective actions.
• Perform capacity analysis using build plans.
• Determine staffing requirements to meet productivity targets and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and deploy standardized work instructions and maintain process stability.
• Promote safety policies and conduct safety investigations.
