Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation, Jeffersonville, Indiana, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a dedicated team and drive manufacturing excellence in our production environment on 1st shift. You will ensure smooth flow, meet targets with high quality, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and efficiency.

The role emphasizes standard work, cross-training, and collaboration with the Plant Manager to map future value streams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years' management or supervisory experience.
• Sufficient background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing, human resource management and inventory control.
• Demonstrated teamwork and teambuilding skills. Ability to assess and develop individual and team skills and capabilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with LEAN teams or leading LEAN teams is preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Meet with department associates regularly to reflect on problems, solutions and challenges, fostering continuous improvement.
• Lead the plant value streams in daily operations and continuous improvements across supply chain, production control, and manufacturing priorities.
• Ensure standardized work and processes are followed; implement adjustments and maintain safety and 5S compliance.
• Maintain a positive team atmosphere; conduct regular team meetings and coordinate cross-department support.
• Provide cross-training and backups to assure continuity of the value stream; encourage stopping to fix problems to get quality right first time.
