Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corp – Parker Chomerics in Massachusetts is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to support process engineers and production teams. The role focuses on data collection, equipment review, and implementing process improvements in a LEAN environment, with emphasis on safety, quality, and ergonomics.

The position operates 2:15 PM–10:45 PM, Monday through Friday, and requires strong teamwork, problem solving, and technical writing skills to develop SOPs and work instructions while

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required.
• GED or high school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience; knowledge of lean tools and problem solving (e.g., fishbone, 5 Why’s); Six Sigma Green Belt a plus.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in math, reading, writing, and MS Office; technical writing experience (SOPs, work instructions) a plus.
• Strong English communication skills; analytical and organized.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs; exposure to chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and boost productivity.
• Perform A3 root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct PPAP activities and updates.
• Assist development of innovative manufacturing solutions and review processes.
• Coordinate across departments to troubleshoot production processes and review documentation.
• Prepare and revise SOPs, work instructions, and process documents.
• Train operators and supervisors on new equipment and processes.
• Support LEAN and High-Performance team objectives and Starpoint participation.
• Adhere to Safety and 5S programs; use PPE in designated areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
