Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to support process engineers and production in a LEAN manufacturing environment in Massachusetts. The role focuses on data collection, documentation, and aiding equipment/process reviews to drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process documentation, and training operators on new equipment and processes, with a late-afternoon shift schedule from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM,

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
• High school diploma required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience; lean tools and problem‑solving knowledge; Six Sigma Green Belt a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to meet deadlines.
• Strong math, reading, writing, and MS Office skills; technical writing a plus.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written English communication; able to lift up to 40 lbs; exposure to chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost reduction and productivity improvements through continuous improvement projects.
• Perform A3 root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct PPAP activities (P-Maps/Controls/FMEA).
• Support development of innovative manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Communicate with other departments to troubleshoot production process issues.
• Draft and revise SOPs, work instructions, and batch/process documents.
• Train operators and staff on new equipment and processes.
• Support LEAN and High-Performance team initiatives and daily data review.
• Assist safety and 5S programs and use PPE in designated areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
