The role emphasizes following procedures, identifying improvements, and supporting personnel assignments and training to ensure consistent quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions, such as shop packets and work instructions.
• Ability to use basic math and measuring devices.
• Ability to handle and assemble small components using a microscope for extended periods.
• Good manual dexterity and time management to work at a good pace.

Responsibilities

• Partner with production leadership to monitor employees, production, and resources.
• Perform administrative tasks under the guidance of production leadership.
• Support production leadership personnel assignments.
• Identify and recommend continuous improvement whenever possible.
• Partner with production leadership to foster positive relationships between employees and work groups.
• Assist in resolving problems, monitoring progress, and reporting to production leadership.
• Maintain KPIs on Visual Management Boards in the location.
• Maintain quality output by enforcing Quality Management System policies and processes.
• Communicate need for equipment orders, repairs, or replacements to production leadership.
• Support production inquiries and redirect to production leadership as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment per Safety policies and training guidelines.
• Follow and enforce all policies and procedures.
• Provide employee performance feedback to production leadership for growth and development.
• Provide ongoing training to employees as directed by production leadership.
• Participate in ongoing training to develop production competencies.
• Complete production process work and other duties as assigned.
