Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. – Paragon Medical Orthopedics division in Dayton, OH – is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift. The role supervises the production team, drives safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency, and develops team capabilities to improve overall performance.

The position emphasizes Lean practices, cost control, and cross-functional collaboration to meet production goals and customer expectations. High School Diploma or GED required with 7+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

7+ years managing a team or shift.
3-6 years with related technical experience.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment operation and setup.

Responsibilities

Supervise the safe operation of all production processes.
Monitor area performance and solicit feedback from associates.
Enforce all safety rules and regulations.
Supervise team members and ensure effective employee relations.
Resolve issues through problem resolution with management.
Lead interviews, orientation, training and performance development.
Execute operational plans to enhance profitability and efficiency.
Collaborate with other functions to apply Lean practices to improve quality, cost and delivery.
Maintain production plans and standards.
