Qualifications

• Experience leading production on a line or shift in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to train and develop staff using clear instruction and coaching.
• Bi-lingual Spanish/English required or strongly preferred for 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities for an assigned line or work area.
• Ensure safety, efficiency, and consistency in achieving production goals.
• Track and communicate key production metrics and performance measurements (output, labor utilization, efficiency, downtime, waste, quality).
• Manage daily employee rosters and line assignments to match production needs and skills.
• Position the right employees in the right jobs to meet goals.
• Conduct shift starts, set priorities, and maintain focus throughout the shift.
• Identify obstacles and escalate or resolve issues quickly.
• Coach employees on performance expectations and accountability.
• Maintain a positive, engaged work environment and support onboarding/training.
• Use structured training methods to teach jobs safely and consistently.
• Verify employee skills before independent work and maintain skill records.
• Collaborate with production leadership, quality, maintenance, safety, HR, and other departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, labor utilization, quality, training, and efficiency.
• Reinforce food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Help employees understand expectations and how their performance impacts the operation.
