Job summary

AMETEK AMC in Jackson, MN seeks a 2nd Shift Production Lead to assist the Production Supervisor in maintaining a safe, structured work environment. You will liaison between leadership and staff, ensure procedures are followed, and drive improvements.

Responsibilities include monitoring production, performing admin tasks, supporting leadership assignments, and training staff. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to Quality Management System policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read basic instructions and visual aids.
• Ability to use basic math and measuring devices.
• Ability to handle small components using a microscope.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with production leadership to monitor employees, production, and resources.
• Perform administrative tasks under guidance of production leadership.
• Support production leadership personnel assignments.
• Identify and recommend continuous improvement where possible.
• Maintain KPIs on Visual Management Boards in the location.
• Maintain quality output by enforcing Quality Management System policies and processes.
• Communicate equipment order needs to production leadership.
• Provide ongoing training to employees as directed by leadership.
• Complete production process work and other duties as assigned.
