Job summary

JMJ PHILLIP seeks an experienced 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead production operations in a unionized manufacturing environment, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency. The role oversees supervision, process engineering support, and cross-shift collaboration.

You will coach and develop production teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining a positive, accountable workplace. This hands-on position offers growth and exposure to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in manufacturing settings.
• Experience in unionized environments preferred.
• Process or manufacturing engineering experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production employees during the 2nd shift with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Apply process engineering knowledge to improve manufacturing processes and performance.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members and address performance concerns.
• Coordinate cross-shift coverage and communicate critical information between shifts.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
