Job summary

ATI in Wisconsin (Cudahy) seeks a Small Turning Equipment Operator for a 2nd shift, after 60-90 days training on 1st shift, 7am-3pm. You will set up and operate production machine tools to machine forgings or stock per customer specs, using cutting tools and gauges.

Must have strong reading, math, GD&T, blueprints, and experience with manual horizontal/vertical lathes, and a proven track record in turning operations. Wage: $35.32/hr plus $0.25 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of turning operation experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of setup experience on manual lathes.
• Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension.
• The ability to read instructions and perform simple measurements is critical.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various production machine tools to machine forgings or stock according to customer requirements and specifications.
• Use cutting tools, hand tools, measuring instruments, and gauges to ensure proper setups and machining operations.
• Read blueprints and GD&T specifications to guide machining processes.
