Job summary

ATI is seeking a Turning Impressions operator for our Die Room in Cudahy, Wisconsin. You will operate turning centers to produce aerospace components, ensuring precision and quality while collaborating with CNC machinists and cross-functional teams.

The role runs on a fourth shift, 11:00pm–7:00am, Sunday–Thursday, with training on first shift. Candidates should have 3+ years of machining and 1 year of programming experience, plus a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Read and understand blueprints to produce parts to specifications.
• Proficient with basic computer tools used in machining.
• Strong analytical approach to measurements and quality checks.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail in setup and records.

Responsibilities

• Interprets program to install tools and set offsets for conformance.
• Performs complete machining of first piece and verifies dimensions.
• Uses gauges and scales to verify part dimensions and finishes.
• Reads drawings to produce parts meeting specifications.
• Measures and documents dimensions during operations.
• Uses precision instruments to ensure conformance to prints.
