Job summary

Woodward Inc. is seeking skilled Repair & Overhaul Technicians for its Loves Park, IL campus on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm–11:00pm). Training may occur on 1st shift for two weeks. Responsibilities include teardown, assembly, testing, and adherence to 5S and safety standards. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot routine issues.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, prints and part diagrams.
• Proficiency using hand tools, measurement and inspection equipment.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to follow Lean practices and 5S.

Responsibilities

• Teardown, assembly and test product following documented procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for analysis and work scope of product.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify product quality and maintain data.
• Maintain 5S cleanliness and proper organization of workstations.
