Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Downers Grove, IL is seeking an Electrical PLC Technician for 2nd shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical and control systems up to 600V, leveraging PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs to support continuous production and plant reliability.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, PLC programming, and HMI support, with strong safety and teamwork focus. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of industrial electrical, automation, controls, or electromechanical maintenance experience and/or training.
• Minimum of two (2) years of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of HMI troubleshooting and support experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, maintain, and modify electrical and control systems up to 600V.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in single- and three-phase systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document equipment and drawings.
• Support upgrades to outdated or unsafe installations and collaborate with maintenance teams.
