Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Supply Associate at our Lancaster, PA location to support service operations by ensuring technicians have the right parts when needed. You will manage inventory accuracy, process incoming shipments, and deliver excellent internal and external customer service in a fast-paced automotive environment.

The role emphasizes detail orientation, teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while upholding CarMax standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately record data.
• Intermediate computer skills, including spreadsheet proficiency.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with associates and vendors.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Effective verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and provide the correct parts for customer vehicles
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments into inventory
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stocking levels
• Control supplies to minimize waste and improve efficiency
• Allocate parts using CarMax internal systems for smooth workflow
• Return incorrect or defective parts to vendors promptly
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
