Job summary

CarMax Locust Grove is seeking a Supply Associate to ensure technicians have the correct parts when needed, manage inventory accuracy, and process incoming shipments. You will support a fast-paced service operation and contribute to a best-in-class automotive experience.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to multitask, and comfortable working with internal systems. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and strong teamwork in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Supply Associate Workstation Certifications and adherence to competency standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately record data.
• Intermediate computer skills, including spreadsheet proficiency.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with associates and vendors.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Effective verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and provide the correct parts for customer vehicles.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments into inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stocking levels.
• Control supplies to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
• Allocate parts using CarMax internal systems for smooth workflow.
• Return incorrect or defective parts to vendors promptly.
• Follow CarMax EH&S requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
