Job summary

CarMax is hiring a Supply Associate to support service operations by ensuring technicians have the correct parts when needed. You will manage inventory accuracy, process shipments, and provide excellent service to internal and external customers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include identifying parts, processing shipments, maintaining stock levels, and using CarMax systems to ensure smooth workflow while upholding EH&S standards at a Columbus location.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately record data.
• Intermediate computer skills, including spreadsheet proficiency.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with associates and vendors.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Identify and provide the correct parts for customer vehicles.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments into inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stocking levels.
• Control supplies to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
• Allocate parts using CarMax internal systems for smooth workflow.
• Return incorrect or defective parts to vendors promptly.
• Follow CarMax EH&S requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
