Job summary

CHEP UK Ltd. in Orlando, FL is seeking a 2nd shift Pallet Repair Operator to repair pallets by replacing defective boards and assembling components.

You will use a pneumatic nail gun and a reciprocating saw, stand for long periods, and lift 60-75 lbs while meeting safety guidelines and production targets. The role requires physical strength, hand-eye coordination, endurance, and the ability to concentrate and communicate effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Uses a pneumatic nail gun and reciprocating saw to repair pallets.
• In a repair department place pallet on repair table, remove damaged boards, replace boards and nail into place.
• Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw.
• Stand for long periods and repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 60-75 lbs.
• Follow safety procedures and operate with attention to PPE and company rules.
