Job summary

CHEP Jacksonville is hiring Pallet Repair Operators in a fast-paced warehouse setting. The role involves repairing pallets, meeting daily production targets, and handling heavy lifting while following strict safety protocols.

Training and PPE are provided, with opportunities for incentives and advancement. You will work on 1st or 2nd shift with a starting wage of $20.30/hour plus a $0.75/hour differential for the second shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, walk and lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment with repetitive tasks.
• Adherence to safety rules and regulations and use of PPE.
• Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Repair pallets by replacing defective boards and components according to guidelines.
• Meet daily production targets and maintain productivity.
• Operate pneumatic nail guns and saws safely.
• Conduct visual quality checks to ensure repair quality.
