Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a 2nd shift Paint/Pack Operator in Shelbyville, KY to work on-site. The role involves loading/unloading blades, performing quality inspections and maintaining documentation while following safety standards.

You will operate and adjust equipment, ensure product meets specs, and participate in 6S and continuous improvement. Strong reading, math, and teamwork skills are essential, with OT flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Capable of basic math and using PPE and safety rules.
• Basic computer skills and teamwork ability.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload blades following quality and safety standards.
• Perform visual quality checks on blades and update move tags.
• Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot machines to maintain flow.
• Maintain 6S practices and proper documentation.
• Handle scrap, rework and comply with job instructions.
