Job summary

Fortress Nutrition, LLC is seeking reliable Packaging Line Operators to join our Dry Powder Operations team. You will operate packaging equipment, perform real-time quality checks, and collaborate with the production team to package products accurately according to customer specifications.

This role offers a consistent 2nd shift schedule, with overtime options, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that emphasizes safety and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing or related field with understanding of food-safety and GMPs.
• Ability to perform basic shop math and read/write English.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work in an environment with allergens, dry powder, and varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and related machinery (fillers, sealers, x-ray systems, metal detectors, scales, coders).
• Make equipment adjustments to meet specifications.
• Perform real-time quality checks (bag visuals, seal integrity, coding, weight).
• Complete MMRs and production records with Good Documentation Practices.
• Monitor equipment and product flow to identify faults and slowdowns.
• Report production concerns promptly to supervision.
• Follow GMPs, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
