Job summary

Fortress Nutrition, LLC is seeking reliable Packaging Line Operators for our Dry Powder Operations team. You will operate packaging equipment, perform real-time quality checks, and collaborate with production to meet customer specifications in a fast-paced setting.

The role features a consistent 2nd shift schedule, a 3-day work week with paid 40 hours, and weekend shift coverage. Training may occur during the week with flexible training hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing, with understanding/knowledge of food-safety and quality programs (GMPs, handwashing, sanitation, allergen controls)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Overtime and weekend work may be required by production or business needs

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain packaging equipment and related machinery (fillers, sealers, x-ray systems, metal detectors, scales, coders)
• Make equipment adjustments to meet specifications
• Perform quality checks (bag visuals, seal integrity, coding, weight) in real time
• Complete MMRs and production records with Good Documentation Practices
• Monitor equipment and product flow; address faults or slowdowns promptly
• Report production concerns to supervisor or lead for resolution
• Follow GMPs, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support overtime/weekend needs
