Job summary

Fortress Nutrition is seeking a reliable Packaging Line Operator for 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM) with a 4×10 schedule. You will operate packaging equipment, perform real-time quality checks, and collaborate with the production team to ensure product safety and accuracy according to customer specs.

Responsibilities include setup and adjustment of equipment, maintaining GMPs, completing documentation, and addressing any faults promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing or related production.
• Ability to perform basic shop math.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work in environments with allergens and dust.
• Overtime/weekend availability as required by production needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and related machinery (fillers, sealers, x-ray systems, metal detectors, scales, coders).
• Make equipment adjustments to meet specifications.
• Perform real-time quality checks and document results.
• Maintain Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs) and production records per GMPs.
• Monitor equipment and product flow; address faults or slowdowns.
