Job summary

Fortress Nutrition is seeking a 1st Shift Packaging Operator for Dry Powder Ingredients to operate packaging equipment, perform real-time quality checks, and work closely with the production team to ensure products meet customer specifications.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, accuracy, and adherence to GMPs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a consistent 1st shift schedule and opportunities for optional overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in food manufacturing with GMP knowledge.
• Ability to perform basic shop math and read/write in English.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain packaging equipment and related machinery.
• Make adjustments to ensure specifications are met.
• Perform consistent quality checks throughout production.
• Complete MMRs and production records in real time.
• Monitor equipment and product flow to address faults.
• Report production concerns promptly to supervision.
• Follow GMPs, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support team with overtime or weekend work when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
