Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Material Coordinator for the 2nd shift in York, PA. The role involves setting up and operating metal fabrication machines to cut, bend, and form metal plates and shapes.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, and adjust machine settings for multiple passes, while ensuring parts are measured, labeled, and stored properly. The position requires a 1-year certificate or 3–6 months of related experience, familiarity with CNC software, PC use, and possibly a forklift

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints and shop orders?
• Knowledge of CNC software and ability to use a PC.
• Forklift license may be required in some departments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal fabricating machines (brakes, shears, presses) to cut, bend, form, and straighten metal pieces.
• Read blueprints/engineering specs to determine setup and sequence.
• Position and secure tooling, fixtures, and stops; adjust machine controls.
