Job summary

Lakepoint Villa Assisted Living in Nebraska is seeking a Full-time, 2nd Shift Medication Aide to join our dedicated team of professionals committed to the residents and community. The Medication Aide administers medications and treatments, observes effects, documents in MARs, and communicates concerns to the Wellness Director.

The role supports activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity through compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of medication assistance training per state and facility requirements.
• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred as indicated.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Observes residents for effects, documents information in medication administration records, and communicates concerns to Wellness Director or designated personnel.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living while supporting independence and dignity.
• Maintains professional conduct and effective oral and written communication.
