Job summary

Lakepoint Villa Assisted Living is seeking a Part-time, 2nd Shift Medication Aide to join our caring team. You will administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents, observe effects, document in medication administration records, and report concerns to the Wellness Director.

You will also assist with activities of daily living, support resident independence, and uphold our CAPLICO core values in every interaction. Prior medication aide training and state certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of medication assistance training per state and facility requirements.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification as required.
• Compassionate, empathetic in personal interactions.
• Self-motivated, organized with ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to regulations.
• Observe residents, document effects and any adverse events.
• Record information in medication administration records.
• Communicate concerns with Wellness Director or designated staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Uphold dignity and independence in resident interactions.
