All American Assisted Living is seeking a part-time Medication Aide to support our Wellness team on 2nd shift. You will administer medications under RI guidelines, assist residents with daily living activities, and document care with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must hold active RI Nursing Assistant license.
• Must hold active RI Medication Aide license.
• Licenses must be in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety.
• Ability to follow provider orders, pharmacy labels, medication records, policies, and supervision.
• Strong observation, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately in English.
• Prior assisted living or senior-care experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to complete electronic documentation.
• Punctuality and dependable attendance.
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications permitted under the RI Medication Aide license.
• Follow provider orders, MARs, pharmacy labels, and community policies.
• Verify resident identity and medication information before administration.
• Observe residents before, during, and after medication administration.
• Document medications administered, withheld, omitted, or refused.
• Report medication errors or concerns to supervising nurse.
• Maintain medication carts, records, and storage areas.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
