Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a positive customer service attitude and be approachable.
• Shows initiative and works with minimal supervision.
• Strong attendance and reliable scheduling.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.
• Neat, clean appearance and professional conduct.
• CPR certification preferred; direct care experience preferred; HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene and mobility.
• Encourage independence, support resident choice and dignity.
• Participate in facility in-services and help train new staff.
