Job summary

Trane Technologies plc in Minneapolis is seeking a Material Planner Assistant to support master production scheduling and daily manufacturing floor tasks. You will release MRP orders, assist with inventory, and help meet on-time delivery and fill-rate goals.

The position is 2nd shift, safety sensitive, on-site, with annual base salary range shown as hourly $31.00. Benefits include Thrive-at-work programs and comprehensive health options.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, materials, or logistics.
• MRP systems experience (Oracle preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in a Lean environment.
• Drug Screening, Background Check and Physical Screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage cycle count, inventory adjustments, and root cause analysis.
• Update routings to align with packaging requirements.
• Resolve inventory questions and issues timely.
• Maintain hour-by-hour packaging time reporting.
• Answer customer service questions on part ETAs.
• Plan and release manufacturing jobs using Oracle MRP.
• Expedite work orders and review production requirements.
• Build job packets with travelers and production drawings.
• Support part deliveries for shortages and close WIP jobs.
• Create and maintain master schedule and late job list.
