Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Materials Team Leader in Columbia, SC to coordinate receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory control. You will lead MDI, coach staff, and ensure standard work is followed, with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to resolve material flow issues, maintain accurate inventories, and document transactions while upholding lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to operate powered industrial vehicles.
• Knowledge and application of Lean Principles.
• Able to lead and coach teams.
• Strong communication with internal and external parties involved in scrap, trash, recycling and storage.
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory control activities.
• Lead and train employees, provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure material availability and accurate inventories.
• Maintain required documents per compliance and retention policies.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to EHS requirements.
