Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a material handler for our on-site operations in the United States. The role involves operating forklifts, PIVs, and hoists, performing receiving and shipping tasks, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support production lines.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, cross-train within the production area, and participate in lean activities while complying with safety rules and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and follow assembly directions, work order packets, and safety instructions in English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, PIVs, overhead cranes, and hoists.
• Work in receiving, shipping, put-away, kitting, fulfillment, and other material handling roles.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Transport raw materials, finished products, and components to and from storage areas, production lines, or loading docks.
• Maintain inventory records and perform regular stock counts.
• Stage materials for production and ensure timely delivery to workstations.
• Load and unload trucks or containers and secure materials.
• Identify and resolve material-related issues and use measuring tools for quality checks.
