Job summary

Trane Technologies plc is seeking a Production Planner in the United States to develop and optimize production plans aligned with the Master Production Schedule, balancing supply and demand to meet customer service and inventory targets.

You will collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Materials to translate demand signals into executable plans, manage forecasts, and ensure schedule integrity and timely material readiness to support on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BS/BA preferred; high school diploma required.
• Experience in production planning, forecasting, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing processes.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain production plans and schedules.
• Manage and maintain demand forecasts with alignment to customer demand.
• Balance supply and demand to meet service, inventory, and operational goals.
• Establish production priorities based on demand and capacity constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate inputs into actionable plans.
• Monitor schedule adherence and expedite materials as needed.
• Track KPIs like on-time shipment and schedule attainment.
